Le Roy became a master watchmaker in 1733. He was named "Horloger du Roi" watchmaker of the kings. He signed his watches with “Chs Le Roy”.
Wonderfully fine spindle watch in a gold case (at least 18K) with exceptional side engraving on the back, smooth finish
Fine casing with a beautiful look - artfully designed - masterly
White enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute track on the outside with Arabic 5 numerals in black. Magnificently decorated hands - gold-colored. Winding at two. Very nice condition - a small damage when winding.
Pusher for movement opening under the six
Finely double engraved gold bezel in various designs
Smooth back finished with a decorative wreath - fine gold jewelery.
Beautifully designed verge movement - high quality workmanship. Fire-gilded full plate movement with verge escapement via fusee and chain, filigree verge bridge, silver-coloured regulating disc Signed Chs Le Roy - Paris
Winding key at the same time time setting key on the center square of the dial.

As a collector's item, the running accuracy and running time have not been tested.
