Circa 1780-1790 Georgian Blue Jasperware with white relief, mounted in cut steel Button Brooch. The Jasperware was made at Josiah Wedgwood factory, Etruria, Staffordshire and the steel probably made in Birmingham, ca.1785-1800. This button has been into a brooch with a Unmarked Rose Coloured Metal fastening on the back. This brooch contains Twenty Five Old Cut Paste Glass Stones surrounding the Blue Jasperware. This brooch measures approx. 35mm x 35mm. The fastening has a "C" clasp. Condition: The brooch is in excellent condition commensurate with the age of the historical piece.
