Condition: - Ex lot 61 of Sotheby's sale on the 7th of May 2020
- relined and restored
- wax lining
- repaired holes to the left lock of hair, and his jacket (lower part), logically overpainted
- overpainted spot to the forehead
- the right part with wear (caused by the frame?)
- the varnish discoloured
- could use cleaning and a check-up
- furthermore, in our opinion, the portrait is in acceptable to good condition.
