Notes: Note:
Thomas Beach was born in Milton Abbas, Dorset and studied under Sir Joshua Reynolds, who was instrumental in introducing him to London society. According to Michael Russell, he settled in Bath by 1769 and during the 1770''s worked peripatetically in neighboring counties, painting portraits of sitters largely from Dorset and Somerset counties. Dimensions: 30 x 25 in (76.2 x 63.5 cm)
