- Underbody condition: very good. DESCRIPTION This legendary and very fun original 2CV “Charleston” spent the last decade of its life unused and well preserved in a garage. It belonged to only one family, even if two changes of ownership were registered, and it has 77,260 km in thirty-one years of life. Unfortunately, its service book has not been found, but given its condition of use checked in a workshop, the kilometres are correct. It underwent a preservative restoration, including the removal of the decals typical of this model and faded by the age, which were replaced with new ones after a careful polishing of the paint. Front and rear bumpers, hood, interior and parabolic headlights were replaced. All with new parts. The body looks very nice considering that this is a preserved vehicle with over thirty years of age, and the mechanics runs perfectly. All the sheet metal of the car is “preserved” and original from the factory. No accidents. If you pay attention, you can see some small touch-ups that cover a few scratches. Healthy bottom, original from the factory. The rear left door has a small dent at the bottom, easy to fix by hand without the need to repaint the area, because the metal of a 2CV, as everybody knows, is very light and ductile. There is no perforating rust on the sheet metal. If you look with attention, the tailgate has some small dents. Unlike a restored car, a factory original vehicle with thirty years of age shows all its past, but without surprises. The car is located in Sicily (Italy) .
