Citroën - Ami 8 - 1974

[ translate ]

Citroën Ami 8 Confort from 1974. Vehicle fitted with the optional period car radio, third-hand vehicle, warranty booklet and date of purchase, vehicle maintenance booklet. The car was purchased in the Dordogne from a Citroën dealer in 1974, then sold in 1980 to another owner, also in the Dordogne, who kept it for 43 years. The bodywork is in good condition overall, but is to be repaired later to be in perfect condition. Some damage to the bodywork, small scratches and peeling paint dents. The vehicle was already repainted in the 1980s, the chassis and the floor have never been touched. Original condition. Slight oxidation that can be removed by brushing (only present on the floor and the frame) . Very well maintained, the vehicle has always slept in a garage and this is still the case today. Inside everything is almost perfect except for the fabric of the seats which was damaged and slightly torn over time, the leather of the door panels and seats are in very good condition. The bottom seen from above is perfect, the plastics are not cracked or damaged except for a small crack at the level of the starter which works well. The headliner is no longer present, it has peeled off over time - to be reviewed. In terms of mechanics, an overhaul is necessary: damaged transmission bellows, small oil leak. The engine runs like clockwork, the gearbox does not stick, the clutch works perfectly, the vehicle drives regularly. The old 1980 registration will be provided with the vehicle documents. Two sets of keys in my possession. The vehicle is available for viewing in Dordogne (its place of origin) . The French registration certificate is normal, the vehicle has not been converted to a collector's certificate.
