Citroën - CX 25 RD Turbo - 1984

1984 restored Citroën CX 25 RD Turbo, in very good condition. This is a scarce first generation diesel turbo model, with 95 HP; back then it was the fastest diesel in the world. The car has been restored during 5 years. Three in Barcelona and two, in a continuous way, at the official Dr. Esquerdo Citroën Central dealership in Madrid. The car includes a comprehensive dossier. The engine and the gearbox were removed. The gearbox has 5 speeds, is new, and the bellows were replaced and the transmission was repaired. Everything with new bearings. The gas oil pump and the turbo were also rebuilt. All belts were replaced. The steering is also new and it was adjusted by the Citroën Central repair shop manager. The complete exhaust line is original and it has been newly replaced. The 14” alloy rims were redone. The tyres have less than 1,000 km. The headlights and lights are new. The rebuilt of the bumpers and ends was also complete. Sheet metal and paintwork hae been retouched and the car looks like when it left the factory. Also the hydraulic system has recently been redone with replacement of high pressure sleeves, all 4 spheres and fluids. All new. New steering ball joints and suspension. Over 8,000 euros invested. The car is equipped with all options of the period, including air conditioning, which cools quite well. The car will come with a complete set of Citroën invoices. The car has a Pioneer Radio-CD with MP3 and amplifier, and it is delightful to drive it, especially on long trips. We are attaching pictures of the Barcelona City Council certification. Last ITV (Spanish vehicle inspection) with zero flaws, and since then the car has barely been used. New ITV pending. It is not known whether the km are real and, besides, the instruments had to be repaired. The car has been maintained with original parts provided by L’Agence CX from France (Mr. Nordhal) , and with original parts or CX Basis perfect replicas (Mr. Jochen Heusel) from Karlsruher, Stuttgart. All supervision of the restoration was done during 2 years by the Citroën Retail Madrid repair shop mechanics manager. The car is located in Madrid, Spain.
