Citroën - DS21 - 1968

This beautiful and excellent driving Citroen DS21 was built in January 1968, so an early 21 with the “new nose”. It has an exemption for the MOT and road tax. An LPG installation was installed in 2022, it runs well on LPG. The advantage of LPG is that in addition to lower fuel costs, it can also be driven in various city centers. A beautiful car with a lot of charisma. The car was delivered new in the Netherlands and has always driven here.

The car is an original Dutch car, and therefore has a Dutch registration. If desired, the car can be supplied with an EU export document (at an additional cost of 50 euros) so that a foreign buyer can easily register the Citroen.

Body:
The Citroen is being sold due to family circumstances. The car was originally delivered new in this color, AC 522, Chamille Vert Citroen calls this green color. Particularly beautiful in combination with the original silver-gray roof. It looks very neat, in some places you can see that the paint is really old, the seller left it that way to show the old patina.

The underside has also been well maintained and is therefore in very neat condition. The left front door is no longer beautiful at the bottom. Perhaps a door bottom can be glued to it (this is a new technique for installing door bins, so no need to re-spray paint) . The right rear door is in better condition but does need attention, the other two doors are okay.

Technical:
The suspension works well, and the car drives, brakes, shifts and steers very well. The car had a major overhaul at the end of last year. The car is equipped with an electronic 123 ignition, which makes it start and drive much more reliably. Battery, rear tires, exhaust and radiator have recently been replaced. The tachometer does not work, the speedometer sometimes falters (just tap it and then it works again)

Interior:
You can see the age of the leather seat upholstery, the leather is torn. The rear seat and door panels are neat.

Transportation:
The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands and can of course be picked up here. The car can be delivered in the Netherlands for an additional charge of 150 euros (excl. the Wadden Islands)

The seller can have the car delivered relatively cheaply throughout the EU by a professional carrier.
