Citroën - HY 1600 - 1981

This unique Citroen HY is from 1981 and one of the very last ones (perhaps the last one?) sold new in the Netherlands. The current owner bought the car in 1983 from the then Citroen dealer as a young, used / demo vehicle with 10,000 km on the odometer, so it’s more or less from the first owner. This is a 1600 petrol version with 111,600 original km, everything is fully demonstrable. The car has been very well maintained and was recently fitted with new tyres. It drives sublime and is completely original and unrestored. When the car was new, it was entirely treated with tectyl and the hollow spaces were preserved which explains its intact and rust-free condition. Additionally, the car was always well maintained and was parked indoors. It has just been serviced and has a new Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection valid until mid-2021. The original booklets and warranties are available. A professional motorhome interior was fitted in the past, it all looks very neat and tidy. With fridge, heater, table, etc. A very nice and intact vehicle with a beautiful patina and a great history, a one-off classic Citroen HY! !
