Citroën - Lomax 224 - 1981

[ translate ]

Particularly nice and unrestored Citroen / Lomax 224 from 1981, therefore 39 years old! And with a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid until 06-07-2022 (!) , fully admitted and roadworthy. The previous owner had the car for 16 years, he was full of praise for this Lomax. The car was delivered new as a 2CV in the Netherlands in 1981, it was professionally converted to its current setup about 20 years ago. The paint is neat and of course has some patina which makes the Lomax look very good. Full of nice details and with the original 2CV6 engine, therefore 2 cylinders, 602cc and a 4-speed manual gearbox, disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the back. This Lomax offers endless driving fun and is easy to maintain at affordable prices because technically it is a Citroen 2CV6. If needed, the car can be delivered with EU export papers free of charge for easy registration in the buyer’s country. The car is in excellent condition, the interior looks like new, beautiful upholstery and a nice dashboard. A magnificent tonneau cover finishes this pretty picture. It starts, drives, shifts and brakes like new. The car is ready to use and driving it brings a lot of joy. Tyres, brakes, lighting and so on are in good condition. Despite the car already being 39 years old, it is particularly easy to drive, partly thanks to its 4-speed gearbox. The car actually drives like a kart but with much smoother suspension, all car fans should have a spin in such a great Lomax. Everything works properly! The car drives great, a lovely old car that will only increase in value. The car is in Hengevelde, the Netherlands. The seller can arrange relatively affordable shipping throughout Europe. Worldwide transport is not a problem during the coronavirus crisis as this would be done by a professional transport company.
