Citroën - SM - 1971

[ translate ]

A Citroën SM 2. 7 in excellent condition is being sold.
The vehicle was owned by a French collector for over 20 years who had liquidated his collection, was well maintained and is immediately drivable.
The body is very nice and has no defects - there is no visible rust or anything like that. At some point the car was painted in its original color, very high quality. The sheet metal is excellent - see also the pictures with the paint measurements. No work is immediately necessary.
The same applies to the underbody and the sills.

The interior is also very nice, the seats are not damaged, the dashboard is complete and without holes. All displays, the clock and the original 8-track Voxson radio work.

Mechanically, the car is also in top shape. The engine runs great and has recently received a comprehensive service and new tires. Ignition, hydraulic pump etc. are also overhauled, an additional oil cooler was installed in the collector at that time. The car starts at any time without a choke and drives very, very nicely.

The last technical inspection from France is free of defects. The required replacement of the tires has now been carried out - suitable Vredestein Sprint Classic have been fitted.

Summary: a beautiful, timeless, original vehicle that is technically absolutely reliable and awaits its new owner.

If sold to Germany, the car will be handed over ready for registration with a full German certificate.

To avoid disappointment afterwards, it is recommended that you view the vehicle before bidding. To arrange an appointment, please contact Catawiki.
