Civil War Chasseur's Kepi with quilted interior marked by manufacturer "M.H. STEVENS & CO, Washington, D.C.". Kepi presents embroidered jaeger horn on front of Kepi and blue felt shield corps badge (3rd Division, 23rd Corps) on left rear of kepi. Kepi exhibits some mothing, is missing side buttons, and presents remnants of hat cord. Interior of kepi exhibits some degradation to silk. Provenance: Eugene T.
