Civil War escutcheon for Company E 11th Pennsylvania Cavalry. Escutcheon lists whole roster of company and was printed by A. HOEN & COMPAMY, BALTIMORE 1863. Escutcheon measures 19.5" x 15.75" (sight) and is housed in frame measuring 22.5" x 17.25". Escutcheon exhibits vertical tear that has been taped as well as edge chipping with some loss at upper and left portions of sheet. Provenance: Eugene T.
