Civil war non-regulation foot officer's sword, signed "CLAUBERG SOLINGEN". Sword with mirror bright double etched blade, decorated with patriotic eagle and foliate scroll and "U.S.", spine etched "IRON PROOF". Reticulated steel guard with federal eagle and "US", wire wrapped shagreen grip, steel scabbard with two suspension rings. Sword in excellent condition. Measures:38" L.
