Civil War Foot Officer's sword measuring 36.5" (blade 30.5"). Ricasso marked "HORSTMANN & SONS, PHILADELPHIA" with reverse ricasso marked with king's crowned head. Blade is bright and exhibits etching and presents several small rust spots. Grip exhibits some wear. Leather scabbard exhibits some dryness. Provenance: Eugene T.
