Civil War Model 1850 Staff and Field Officer's Presentation sword presented to Lieutenant Joseph Yeamons, Company E New York Volunteers. Sword measures 36.5" (blade 31") with back strap indicating manufacturer by Klingenthal. Sword presents raised skin grip and etched blade that exhibits significant graying. Scabbard exhibits surface rust and several dents with upper throat mount engraved "Presented to Lieut. Joseph Yeamons, Co E, N.Y. Vol. by a few personal friends, N.Y. April 30th 1861".
