Civil War Officer's Sword measuring 38" (blade 32"). Ricasso marked "HORSTMANN BROS & CO", reverse ricasso marked "NEW YORK". Blade exhibits darkening and graying and rust pitting near tip. Sword housed in metal scabbard that has been painted and exhibits dents. Provenance: Eugene T.
