Civil War period tintypes of soldiers (5) including; 1.) Gem sized tintype in CDV mount of head and shoulder view of soldier wearing kepi. Emulsion exhibits some bubbling and mount exhibits ink identification "James M. Fullerton". Fullerton is believed to be John M. Fullerton who enlisted on June 28, 1861 as a Sergeant into Pennsylvania Battery B, 1st Light Artillery and was mustered out on June 9, 1864. 2.) Gem sized tintype in CDV mount of head and shoulder view of soldier wearing kepi. Emulsion exhibits some darkening and mount exhibits ink identification "Elias Robbins". Elias Robbins transferred on December 28, 1863 as a private into Pennsylvania Battery B, 1st Light Artillery and was mustered out on June 9, 1864. 3.) Gem sized tintype in CDV mount of head and shoulder view of soldier wearing military jacket. Image exhibits some surface abrasions and reverse of carte presents backmark of Strickney's Gallery, 743 Broadway, New York City. 4.) Gem sized tintype in CDV mount of head and shoulder view of soldier wearing military jacket. Image exhibits some emulsion bubbling. 5.) Gem sized tintype in trimmed CDV mount of bust view of soldier wearing military jacket/coat with "3" on lapel area. Image exhibits some emulsion darkening and reverse of carte presents backmark of Sunbeam Gallery, New Haven, Connecticut.
