£3,100
Clarice Cliff - Applique Caravan - A large shape 195 vase circa 1931, hand painted with a caravan to a hill below a fruiting tree within black, red and yellow banding, Applique and Bizarre mark, height 22cm.
Provenance - Formerly in the Andre Aerne Collection - sold Christies 18/08/2017
More Information
There looks to have been a small restoration to the underside of the rim indicating a chip rather than a hairline as the interior banding is untouched. The repair is of the highest standard, not visible to the naked eye and would not need reworking.
