Toldos Aharon is one of the first sefarim of its kind and remains paramount in its importance. Through it, one can easily find where any verse is mentioned in Talmud and what the sages deduce from it.
Due to its widespread popularity, sefer Toldos Aharon was joined to the Chumash in 1590 and has since been republished hundreds of times along with various additions of the Chumash.

This first edition was published in Freiberg, Southern Germany, 1583.
