Through his championing of a cheap and accessible approach to printing, Flight hoped to expose all classes of people to the world of fine art; he viewed the linoleum cut technique as truly neutral and equitable. Inspired by the industrial and geometric Vorticism, as well as Cubism, Flight created a unique style interested in the depiction of movement and speed, producing works with great fluidity and kineticism.
