Clebar - Chronodiver Chronograph - 23758 2 - Men - 1970-1979

A well preserved vintage Clebar mens mens chronograph divers wristwatch, made for Zodiac, in early Heuer Carrera style, model Chronodiver. This model, also known in its days as the "poor mans Heuer" has a performance that is very well comparable to the Heuer watches that were produced in those days. This Clebar is triple signed correctly and comes with its original box. It dates from the 70-ties and is a rare and hard to find timepiece, especially with the original box. Watch and box are in excellent condition. The stainless steel case measures 38mm, excluding crown and is in very good condition with sharp edged lugs and minor signs of use and wear consistent with age. Original crown and pushers. Thick screwed backlid, correctly signed with "20ATM" and reference nr. 23758-2 for model Chronodiver. Back of the lid signed with Clebar. Fixed bezel is in very good condition with crisp printing. The case does not show heavyl wear and the original plating is very well intact. Original signed silver dial is likewise in very good condition with some very minor overall patina, not really noticeable. It makes this watch a real vintage. Original, Clebar signed Landeron 248 manual-winding chronograph movement with 17 jewels is in good working order, All functions work excellent. Watch comes on a generic leather strap and has a length of 23cm. Watch will be carefully packed and shipped insured with track and trace. Watch has not been tested for watertightness and we do not guarantee this.
