The hour hand is mounted on the “12” of the alarm disc. Since this disc is firmly connected to the hour wheel and therefore rotates as the clock runs, the hour hand indicates the respective hours. On the central axis there is also a small adjustable hand, with which the alarm time can be set. The repeater strikes the preceding hour during the first half of the hour, and the upcoming hour during the second half of the hour. Please note that some countries prohibit the import of objects made of, or containing, materials from endangered species - such as (but not limited to) coral, ivory, tortoiseshell, or rare tropical woods. For customs-related reasons, these objects cannot be shipped outside the EU.We therefore strongly advise you to inform yourself thoroughly about your country’s current customs regulations before placing a bid.
