Quoted by the original artist.; As a Florida native, I began painting the place I call home at the age of fifteen. That was over thirty five years ago and I’m even more excited about it today than I was then.; I work exclusively in oils in what would be considered an impressionistic style. Exciting brushwork combined with soft edges and atmosphere all come together to portray the landscape in a poetic fashion.; The command of my subject comes from many years of study and hundreds of small paintings completed on site. I pull from these studies and experiences but often it’s imagination that takes me to the finish line when working on my larger paintings.; It is my hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating and sharing it!
