Coat of arms of the De Angelis family - Nanto stone - around 1900
A large coat of arms carved in Nanto stone, representing a central helmet with a noble shield and 2 stars below, surely the symbol of the family, with a crown on top. It displays acanthus leaves decorations all around. The item comes from the Venice area; it was recovered and purchased by me after having previously been detached from a now disused patrician villa. It dates back to the 19th century and it is still in its first patina; it has a crack on the shield but it has been well restored, it has undergone further restorations over time as you can see from the photos, even a corner has been damaged on the back. Dimensions: height 88 cm, width 10 cm, length 66 cm - weight 92 grams. It can be picked up on site or delivered via private delivery at affordable price.
