This is one of the great Antwerp Renaissance books, showing the magnificent way in which the capital of the Low Countries welcomed the future King Philip of Spain. Illustrated with 29 woodcuts (in-text, full-page or double-page) showing triumphal arches, erected by the foreign workers resident in Antwerp and theatrical decors after designs by Pieter Coecke van Aelst.
