Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The pewter presents with an irregular hammered surface inherent to production. The pewter presents with scattered surface scratches, light scuffing, small indentations and light wear throughout consistent with gentle use. The two trays present with a few more pronounced indentations and bending to the rims, not visually distracting. The coffee pot, teapot and creamer display some slight separation to the seams of each spout. The creamer presents with a very fine crack to the base of the spout, only visible upon close inspection. The pewter presents with areas of discoloration, pitting and oxidation consistent with age and the natural evolution of the material. The interiors and recessed areas of the design present with light surface soiling which may be carefully polished at the buyer’s discretion. The rosewood handles are in well-preserved condition with surface irregularities inherent to the wood grain as well as minor abrasions and light wear consistent with gentle use.
