Coffee pot, A very fine silver coffee pot(1) - .950 silver - France - Late 19th century

An excellently crafted silver coffee pot, measuring circa 22. 5cm in height and weighing 710g, the bulbous, twisted, fluted body standing on four acanthus leaf feet, the hinged lid adorned with a floral finial. Finely cast and chiselled spout and handle of foliate design. Hallmarked to body and lid with French Mercurius head (. 950) first tier export assay mark (after 1878) , further retail jeweller's mark J. Schaemaeker a Bruxelles stamped to the underside. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
