Large original 19th century "SIEGERLÄNDER MÄCKES" field coffee pot, origin Siegerland Germany, around 1860-1880.
This coffee pot with a beautiful age-related patina is still in excellent condition. There is no damage or restorations, only some light signs of wear consistent with age.
Height approx. 25 cm with handle, height to the top of the lid approx. 21 cm.
The width is 20 cm / the length 26 cm / the diameter of the bottom 12. 5 cm.
Many younger (replicas) examples of this type of Siegerländer Mäckes field coffee pots can be found, but this is a particularly beautiful and truly old example.
