Autographed & inscribed " Best Wishes from your younger brother, Charles" MacDonald was 5th leading AAF ace with 27 kills; 3rd in the Pacific after Bong & McGuire. He flew P-38s in New Guinea with the 348th & 475th Fighter Groups. Flew a total of 204 missions. His brother, Adm Donald MacDonald commanded the destroyer USS O'Bannon in various surface actions in the Solomons. Fine Copy
