Col. Tom Parker's 11K Yellow Gold Elephant Ring W/Diamond Eyes (Comes W/Letter From Priscilla Presley) - This ring is custom made of solid 11k yellow gold and is designed as the face of an elephant with diamond eyes and a rich, life-like texture. The ring belonged to Colonel Tom Parker, as he was fond of elephants and had several jewelry pieces that reflected his love for the animal. His love for the animal no doubt came from his carnival days, before becoming the manager to the biggest star in the world. Colonel Parker is often referred to as "the man who made Elvis Presley," and was a shrewd businessman who carefully orchestrated Elvis' rise to one of the most legendary and commercially successful entertainers of all time with his sharp-witted management style. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. The ring was found wrapped in a personalized envelope from Colonel Parker's estate, which is included with the piece. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. Ring top measurements: 1.50" x 1.50". Ring size: 5. Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 15.1 grams)
