Col. Tom Parker's Custom Made 1.50ct Black Star Sapphire, 0.25ctw Diamond and 14K Yellow Gold "TP" Ring Designed by Elvis Presley W/Letter From Priscilla Presley - This gold ring was custom made and designed by Elvis Presley expressly for Colonel Tom Parker. The ring is made of solid 14k yellow gold with a 1.50ct (approximate) black star sapphire between the initials "TP", and is finished with two diamond accents and a rich emery finish. Elvis and the Colonel were particularly fond of black star sapphires, and Elvis often used them in his own jewelry pieces as he appreciated their mysterious beauty and believed they had healing powers due to the shifting star in the gemstones under various lights. This is a piece that meant a lot to Elvis and the Colonel and was a token of their special relationship and signified their bond. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. The ring was found wrapped in an envelope from Colonel Parker's estate, which is included with the piece. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. Ring size: 10. Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 34.1 grams)
