Col. Tom Parker's RCA Records 1967 "25 Years of Service" Le Coultre 14K Yellow Gold Watch W/Letter From Priscilla Presley - This solid 14k yellow gold Le Coultre watch was gifted to Colonel Tom Parker by RCA Records in 1967, in recognition of 25 years managing and promoting some of the record company's biggest acts. Prior to becoming the manager of Elvis Presley and helping Elvis become one of the most iconic entertainers of all time, Colonel Parker also promoted popular crooners such as Eddy Arnold, Hank Snow, Gene Austin, and Manny Sacks. This watch is made of solid 14k yellow gold and has a 26.5mm square case and an integrated gold mesh bracelet, and is powered by a manually-wound movement that is still working. The back of the case is engraved "25 Yrs. Service Col. Tom Parker 1967 RCA Records." This watch is considered the counterpart of Elvis' Christmas gift from RCA Records in 1971, which sold at auction in 2018 for over $1.8 million, as the inscriptions are done in a very similar style. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. The watch was found wrapped in an envelope from Colonel Parker's estate, which is included with the piece. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. Measurements: 7.5" inside circumference. Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 58.7 grams)
