Col. Tom Parker's Antique Early 1900s Waltham 14K Yellow Gold Pocket Watch W/Letter From Priscilla Presley - This antique Waltham pocket watch was owned by Col. Tom Parker. Colonel Parker is often referred to as "the man who made Elvis Presley," and was a shrewd businessman who carefully orchestrated Elvis' rise to one of the most legendary and commercially successful entertainers of all time with his sharp-witted management style. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. This pocket watch has a 45mm 14k yellow gold case and a 24" 14k yellow gold chain. This piece is quite a mystery, as although it was found in Col. Parker's estate it was initially presented to Edwin M. Rhoades by the Officers and Employees of the City National Bank, Columbus, Ohio on October 31, 1919. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 84.7 grams)
