Six letters on various topics written by the founder of the "Berlitz" language school, Maximilian Berlitz. Three of them are in his hand, and three are printed and signed by him. With the company's official stationery blank.
Maximilian Berlitz (1852-1921) was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1872, where he worked as a teacher of languages. After several years in the United States, he developed a unique method of teaching languages. He opened his first language school in 1880, and currently the network has over 500 branches.
Several accompanying documents from the school are included with this lot, as well as Berlitz's official obituary.
Overall fine-very fine condition.
