Collection of Chinese Blue and White Rice Grain Porcelain
A collection of 20th century Chinese blue and white rice grain porcelain, 69 pieces in total including lids. Most of the pieces are marked in blue underglaze to the undersides, various two and four character marks. Diameters range from 2 3/4" to 6". Rice grain porcelain is created by artisans cutting patterns into unfired porcelain, creating openwork which is later filled with a translucent glaze.
