Collection of Roman and Coptic bone tools & fragments
A collection of Roman and Coptic bone tools and fragments. Lot includes three Roman bone furniture inlays, c. 1st - 5th Century AD, as well the handle to an implement, part of a spoon, two tools, a decorative element and a carved seated figure, all from a similar period. Also included is what appears to be a cute little bone fragment from a Native American totem figure. Longest L: 4 1/4 in (10.8cm). Ex collection of Herb Goldfarb, New York. Mr. Goldfarb was the owner of Aladdin's Antiques in Brooklyn, New York in the 1950's to 1969 before moving from New York City and opening a smaller antique shop.
