Collection of Warren Sattler Comic Strip Art

Collection of original comic strip art by Warren Sattler. Local Meriden, Connecticut cartoonist and artist. Strips date from 1985 to 1990, and feature his comics "Grubby" and "Swamp Brats". The strips are hand-drawn ink on paper, with corrections and whiteout. Over 45 strips, including at least 2 partials. Good condition overall, with some wear from their active use. Full strips are 17 1/2" by 5 1/4" approximately. Also included is an original watercolor and ink painting of a man and two boys observing a woman in a bubble bath. Sattler did illustration work for National Lampoon and Playboy, and this could be an original painting for one of those publications. Great condition, framed.
