Collins, Gillette & Dovo Razors w/Cases

This lot features a trio of shaving razors, each accompanied by its original manufacturer case. A German-made straight razor features a hollow-ground steel blade and cream-colored scales. The tang is impressed on one side with the number 24 above a logo depicting a standing figure, followed by the words DOVO SOLINGEN MADE IN GERMANY. The reverse side of the tang is impressed with the name FRITZ BRACHT above SOLINGEN-GERMANY. The scales are fitted with decorative metal bolsters and a gold-toned inlay that reads Dovo SOLINGEN. The razor is housed in its original two-piece blue plastic case, which bears the Dovo logo and the words DOVO and FRITZ BRACHT SOLINGEN GERMANY printed in gold. A Collins safety razor features a distinctive circular perforated head and a stepped knurled handle, constructed from nickel-plated metal. The underside of the head is stamped along the rim with the word PATENTED. The razor is contained within its original black leatherette case with a purple velvet lining. A purple silk ribbon attached to the interior lid is printed in gold with Collins Safety Razor and SELF SHAVING. Several circular replacement blades are included in the case. A three-piece Gillette double-edge safety razor is crafted from gold-plated brass and features an open-comb head design. The handle is marked with the letters PAT. The razor is presented in a green textured hard case with a tan velvet and satin lining. The interior lid is printed with a diamond logo surrounded by the text THE NEW Gillette MADE IN U.S.A. KNOWN THE WORLD OVER. The set includes a matching gold-tone metal blade bank.
