The front of the pendant tests as 24k gold. The pendant is filled with red pitch, very small holes throughout the pendant are seen where red pitch is exposed. The ruby beads measure 2.00 - 3.50 mm and show natural inclusions. The ruby tablets on the front of the pendant are backed by colored foil and tinted pitch. Minor damage to enamel on reverse.
