Colorful Jimi Hendrix Insel Fehmarn Poster
Used to advertise a music festival in Germany that took place September 4-6, 1970, this poster comes in two versions—the color version for sale here, and a drab-looking monotone version. This festival is especially important because it represents the last concert appearance by Hendrix. Hendrix was wrapping up his German tour and had cancelled the show scheduled for September 14 because bassist Billy Cox quit the tour after suffering paranoia from taking LSD. Four days later, on September 18, Hendrix was found dead under circumstances that have never been fully explained.
Medium: A Buyers Premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price of all lots.
