.44-40. 7.5" barrel length. SN: 13411NF. Casehardened frame with balance of parts blued, polished hammer flanks, and mounting two-piece walnut Colt medallion grips. Single-action loading gate six-shot revolver with flat top frame mounting adjustable target rear notch paired with matted front ramp sights. Left frame sports the two-line patent mark followed by {Rampant Colt} logo. Left barrel model mark reads COLT NEW FRONTIER S.A.A. 44-40 with the top of the barrel marked COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. The VP monogram proof is struck into the left triggerguard. Comes in its original COLT marked wood grain pattern cardboard box with the owner's manual.

Metal finish shows no turn ring on the cylinder with only two minute blemishes to the left barrel and cylinder. Grips retain crisp edges with slight wear to the left medallion. Box shows some scuffs and abrasions overall. Action has not been tested to preserve finish.
