The word INDIAN still shown in south Kansas. Depicts U.S. west to most of Kansas and Nebraska. Many place names in Texas. Shows "Cross timbers", "Cedar Spr(ings) on N.E. bank of Trinity northwest of Dallas. "German Sett(lements)" north of Fredericksburg. "Copal T(own) just north of New Braunfels "Jordan's Saline", Buffalo, Port Caddo and numerous early settlements.. Shows forts, routes, towns, Indian tribes (e.g. Shawnee Village in Indian Territory & Shawnee Mission in e. Kansas) railroads, topography, etc. Bright and crisp. Folds into brown embossed cloth covers with title embossed in gilt. Covers somewhat faded. Map bright, colorful and highly displayable.
