Commode - Empire - Mahogany, Ormolu - First half 19th century

Empire chest of drawers 3 drawers veneered in mahogany. Front with half columns in black lacquered wood and gilt bronze capitals, straight sides. Round handles in gilded bronze, rhomboidal inlays in the center of the drawers and the upper top. Locks with 3 working keys. Square legs with lower frames. Good structural conditions, some lacks in the veneer and signs of aging; piece of furniture that needs a conservative restoration and polishing (as shown in the photo) . Italy, 1st half 19th century.
