Commode - Empire - Walnut - 1800-1820

French Empire commode, walnut, with solid walnut leaf. Full pillars with gilded brass capitals and gilded brass shield fittings on the 3 drawers. Panelled sides, solid walnut with flower. Top leaf solid walnut, original wax finish with wax patina. Locks and key are working. France, good quality, circa 1800 - 1820. Dimensions: Height 97 cm. Width 132 cm. Depth 70 cm. Recently loose parts of construction and veneer thoroughly checked. No active woodworm found, furniture is in very good condition and can directly be used. Last three photos show the way the lots will be packaged for foreign transport. Euro pallet with stretch wrap and sturdy thick cardboard or stucco with at least 2 winch straps. Comm-2013
