Commode - Louis Philippe - Walnut - First half 19th century
Italian chest of drawers from the Mantuan area, dating back to the 1840s-50s. Built with dovetail joints; the external parts are in solid walnut (the top is made from a single solid walnut plank 63 cm wide) , while the drawer covers and the back are in poplar wood. An original piece of furniture in first patina, not restored but in good condition considering its age. The frieze carved in the first drawer shows small signs of breakage, visible in the picture. It can be shipped to Italy and Europe. Delivered only at the ground floor.
