Commode - Mahogany, Marble

[ translate ]

A 19th century chest of drawers made during the French Louis Philippe period around 1820-1840. The chest of drawers is constructed from oak, pine, beech and mahogany wood and glued with (flower) mahogany veneer. Flower mahogany veneer with a beautiful flame pattern has been selected, especially for the front!
The chest of drawers is equipped with five well-functioning dovetail drawers, which still have their original locks with three working keys and are only decorated with an inlaid brass key entrance. The top drawer still has the original divisions.
The top drawer is incorporated into the so-called "tulip-shaped" profile frame and the bottom one is completely "invisibly" incorporated into the plinth.
The relatively simply designed chest of drawers is richly decorated with various elegant profile frames.
The chest of drawers is finished with the original hand-cut Sainte-Anne marble top which has a groove on the visible sides.
The entire chest of drawers has a beautiful warm orange-brown color, beautiful patina and the polish finish has only been polished to maintain the authentic look!

A chic, stately chest of drawers with refined details, a beautiful appearance and with a lot of storage space! ! !
