From the biggest meteor strike since 1907 comes a fresh, complete Chelyabinsk specimen, which is much larger than the vast majority recovered. The meteorite was neatly cut in half by a high atmosphere explosion. As a result, the specimen boasts an intact, dark brown fusion crust covering the entire top half, while the reverse side offers a window to the interior of the meteorite (with some glassy black fusion crust), displaying its light gray matrix with specks of iron and rust-orange chondrules. Rarely is such a fresh meteorite specimen available for acquisition. Offered with an 8x6-inch Riker Mount and a photo of the 2013 explosion. Measuring 45 x 28 x 8 millimeters; Weighing 24.1 grams
