Comtoise wall clock “Dumont à Amplepuis,” France, ca. 1850, enamel dial marked “Dumont/à Amplepuis,” Roman hour numerals, brass front plate embossed with rocaille motifs and fruits of the harvest, sheet iron case, strikes a bell, large decorative pendulum made of sheet brass with embossed flowers, cartouches, decorative bow, and more, 2 clock weights, H: 50 cm (+ pendulum). Not tested for functionality. Dial is chipped (retouched) and has hairline cracks, signs of oxidation.
