Comtoise with rooster casting - Brass - 1750-1799
Beautiful 18th century Comtoise with convex face and rooster casting with the three French lilies in the medallion with hens on their nest on either side.
. Clock strikes a bell every half and full hour, with repetition on the full hours.
. The clock has flat doors and back plate, wooden windings and nice slender brass hands.
. The dial is signed "Doudier á Laréole".
. The clock is completely restored and cleaned and fitted with new red ropes for the movement and striking mechanism,
old weights and a pendulum swing with lead weight.
. The dial has a number of small damages which have been neatly repaired.
. This clock runs as it should.
. Clock comes with chair and key.
. Measurements of the clock case:
. Height: 25 cm
. Width: 24. 5 cm.

. Height including casting, 37 cm.
